We make it easier to get a better deal on your mortgage – whether you’re switching lenders, or buying a new home.

With Dynamo, first you answer a few questions online, then you’ll speak to one of our dedicated mortgage experts over the phone, who will talk you through your options. We won’t just give you quality advice on your mortgage – we’ll show you what you could save, and do all the hard work for you.

And best of all, our service is 100% free to our customers. We’re able to keep our service free to our customers because we get paid by the lender when we complete a mortgage. And we don’t charge you a fee on top.

What’s the difference between you and price comparison websites?

Dynamo isn’t just a comparison site. We’ll help you to get your mortgage sorted – from start to finish. This means we’ll do all the paperwork, and take care of your application from start to finish – keeping you up-to-date every step of the way.

Yes – Dynamo offers joint mortgages for two people.

In joint applications, you get a mortgage in both of your names. You’ll both be responsible for repaying the mortgage.

Your joint applicant might be your spouse or partner, but it could also be a friend or family member.

With Dynamo, you can submit your joint application together online, and we’ll keep you both up-to-date with the progress of your application.

We don’t currently offer joint mortgages for three people or more.

What services don’t you offer?

We’re always expanding our services – but there are still a few things that we’re not able to do.

Dynamo doesn’t currently offer...

  • Buy-to-Let and other specialist mortgages (e.g. Let to Buy, Right to Buy)
  • Mortgages involving government schemes (e.g. Help to Buy)
  • Mortgages for a new build property
  • Mortgages for a self-build property
  • Shared ownership mortgages
  • Shared equity mortgages
  • Mortgages if you are retired
  • Joint mortgages for three people or more
  • Mortgages on commercial properties
  • Second charge mortgages
  • Bridging finance
  • Mortgages for <5% deposit

Self-employed? No problem.

If you’re self-employed or working as a contractor, you can still apply for a mortgage with Dynamo.

We’ll ask about your particular circumstances when you apply for a mortgage through us.

Most lenders will require a minimum of 2 years worth of income evidence. Often, your lender will ask for SA302 forms (your self-assessment tax return receipts from HMRC) or an equivalent. But don’t worry – your expert Dynamo adviser will guide you through it, and tell you everything you need to know.

We can’t offer you a mortgage if...

  • You’re retired
  • You don’t have sufficient funds for a mortgage

We might need some more details to process your application if...

  • Your income is in a currency other than British Sterling (GBP)
  • You’re unemployed

Financial difficulties?

Depending on the severity of your financial difficulties, we might still be able to help.

Financial difficulties may include:

  • CCJs
  • Loan Defaults
  • Missed Payments
  • Bankruptcy
  • IVA
  • Delinquent accounts

Whether you’re accepted for a mortgage with Dynamo will depend on your overall personal and financial circumstances.

You may not be able to get a mortgage with Dynamo if your financial difficulties have not been satisfied.
